What is Cahoots Workshop?

We’re the world’s first practical workshop exclusively for women and gender minorities. We teach classes, provide training, and help you with your personal projects. Our fundamental mahi is to empower our community with the skills to shape the world around us.

Fundamental to or kaupapa are:

  • Rewriting the cultural norm in which cis men dominate practical skills and spaces

  • Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive space for learning and exploration

  • Building the confidence to manipulate and shape the physical world

  • Developing community resilience through repair, DIY, and upcycling

  • Fostering a love of practical mahi

If you join as a paying member you’ll have 7am-10pm access to work on your projects. Alternatively you can join as a non-paying member to use the workshop durng our drop-in hours (see our calendar for details).
