Cahoots charges users a sliding scale!

The Cahoots structure is fundamentally aimed at reducing inequality. All services that Cahoots can offer are priced on a sliding scale, charging more well-off folks a higher rate, and less well-off folks a lower rate, with the higher rate subsidising the lower.

Cahoots uses bikes for transport!

We use e-bikes for ourselves and our tools as a way of living in the Wellington we want– a climate-adpated, vibrant, human-centric city bustling with local culture and trade.

Cahoots is queer-run!

Starting with the queer trans founder, Cahoots seeks to ‘queer’ the handyman trope-- offering a service that is supportive, creative, and inclusive to all.

Cahoots builds practical community resilience!

We are focussed on building community by offering support to those who could use it, and creating opportunities for those with capacity to offer support.

Cahoots is here to help with the deeply practical, aiming to facilitate diverse projects - building, making, repairing, growing - to foster sustainability and resilience within the community
